About the Project
Honey Pup! was pitched as a stinger for SCAD's animation show case. The film integrated a variety of animation techniques, including digital hand-drawn, flipbook, 3D, and mocap. I led a team of 7 students, the majority who had not worked on a film before, to create the film in 10 weeks.
Pre-Production
Character Design
I created the main character for the film, Honey! He needed to be cute and friendly, and was inspired by a variety of preschool show designs.

Production
The Run Cycle
I created a basic run cycle for the team to follow, as each shot needed to have the same timing to flow together properly.

Compositing (WIP)
As the compositor, it was my job to give each shot its own unique look and style. I implemented a variety of techniques to make every shot a distinct aesthetic that evoked a sense of of history.
